The location is very convenient. It is worth what you pay for. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and overall is really nice

Nothing was off, but it is suitable for people who intend to come for a short period of time. “Rooms are not that big”

Great Location, Comfortable stay, Friendly staff. Thank you.

Location is great, central to all shops and restaurants and attractions, Staff are helpful and friendly, The Hotel is quite and peaceful. Old property but maintained, it could get better with more maintenance. Wifi is good and free. Good Value for money. Reception staff are super helpful especially Mustafa and Ahmed. The GM Mr Essam is also very helpful and friendly and attentive. The Bell Captain AbdulMajeed is a handworker and great asset to this hotel, I will post his photo as a good recognition others are also nice ( Essam and Amro).

In the beginning of my stay few issues with the room but it was nicely handled by the GM personally and they moved me to a better room.

A nice place to lay your head

The hotel staff were very nice. Good quality rooms. The beds were comfortable and it felt secure.

The Wifi was terrible. You get codes that work badly for about 5 mins before it cuts you out. I didn't have data so I was on a full digital detox the whole time I was there. They made us pay extra money for the room to have the second person in it, even though I booked a twin room. And I'd stayed there alone on the first night. I wouldn't buy anything from the hotel - they charge about 6 times the going rate for water. And likewise, if you want to get a taxi to the airport you'll pay 4 times the going rate for that. FYI it should cost you about £10 or $15.

Extremely helpful staff

Comfortable bed

Pool was drained so could not use. Dodgy electrics. Very worn and dirty bedroom. Shower head and wc flush broken but staff made temporary fix. Breakfast limited.

Shabby hotel with very bad services and conditions

The location is excellent but everything else was a bad.

First, they made us pay everything upfront, no hotel has ever asked for that. The toilet paper was either not there or wet, we had to ask for new rolls. Same with the towels, they did not have enough clean ones and we had to ask for them every day. One day we came back and there were no towels in the room. When they brought the towels they were still moist. There was only paid (hourly) wifi. The staff barely spoke English (unusual in Egypt), although mostly were nice. The "airport shuttle" they arranged for us was a taxi, that was more likely a friend of the hotel manager. We asked for a big cab since we were 4 with a lot of bags and they still put us in a small taxi that was not only old, but had a broken exhaust with the fumes coming into the car and that nearly suffocated us on the 45 minute ride to the airport and the back windows could not even open. I ended up spending the next six hours puking. It was a horrible decision to put us on that taxi. I know the economic situation in Egypt is bad and many hotels have closed down and somethings are just not functioning as they should. But this should not be listed as a 3 star hotel. A hostal would have had better conditions. This was clearly going to be a shabby hotel but the situation has made the hotel conditions deteriorate and I do not recommend it for foreigners. At least I think the value for the money does not match.

Noise outside during the evening included motorcycles and a jackhammer tearing up a street. Internet only worked in the lobby and dinning area. Moskito in the room disrupted my sleep.

When I arrived, I wanted to pay by credit card but their...

When I arrived, I wanted to pay by credit card but their machine was "broken" and they would only accept cash. I did not carry enough cash on me for the full booking as I expected to pay by card. There was a card machine on the desk with a green light showing, so assumed they just did not wanted to work via the card and accepted only cash. My bill was 1100egyptian pounds and I was prepared to pay 850 EP immediately till the morning and then pay the 250EP the next day when I had. Time to go to a bank. This was 0115am in the morning, just after midnight, when I arrived. The person at reception refused to hand me the keys until I paid in full. So I had to go outside the hotel at 01:30 at night to go and find an ATM machine to draw the cash!!! If I wasn't so tired I would have told them to keep their hotel and book myself into another hotel. Very poor taste of these guys and for this reason, I would advise you to stay away from this property. Breakfast was supposedly served from 7_10am. At 0735 I had to call reception to ask for them to please man the Restaurant and getsoneone in the kitchen to prepare food. I was on a tour starting 8am, so by the time the egg and breakfast arrived, I had less than 5 minutes to swallow it before the tour operator picked me up. Stay. Away, they. Don't understand customer service and is just after your money!

Like rest of Egypt the areas which rely on tourism have been affected after the revolution. It was a good day one for me to go. Not many tourists and hotel and staff were excellent but hotel showed signs of under investment.

Internet service could have been better. On days it was non existent.

Been to this Hotel 8 times I LOVE it for every reason possible and am returning later this year with 8 friends from Australia... There ciuld be a couple of western dishes added to dining room dinners... More fresh FRUIT at breakfast would be great
